JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the Director of Marketing in the development of sales/marketing campaigns, radio commercials, press releases, and newspaper advertising.
- Develop, design, and execute social media posts.
- Gather and distribute reports on the growth of Community Trust Bank's social media outlets and suggest new ideas for increasing the customer base.
- Research social media trends relevant to Community Trust Bank's brand and recommend actions.
- Create monthly editorial calendars to promote the Company brand and products on various social media websites.
- Assist with public relations and market/community events (e.g., 5K races, Sponsored Sporting Events, Customer Appreciation Day, Big Sandy Senior Games, etc.).
- Act as the Marketing Coordinator for Community Trust Bank's Eastern Region with duties including handling parties, special events, trips, and other assigned responsibilities. Work with other market's coordinators as needed.
- Act as the Pike County Bowl Advisor for Community Trust Bank. Coordinate all aspects of the Pike Co. Bowl Games/Pike County Bowl Queen Coronation.
- Represent Community Trust Bank and Community Trust Bancorp, Inc. at public events.
- Work within the Bank's Marketing Department to ensure cohesive strategy.
- Administrative and clerical tasks, as assigned.
- Perform other duties within Marketing and for the Bank as assigned.
- Ensure all actions performed are in compliance with government regulations and organizational policies and procedures.
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES/EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- One to two years of banking/marketing/public relations experience preferred.
- Experience in digital marketing/social media marketing
- Knowledge of the major social media platforms including Facebook and LinkedIn
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills necessary in order to effectively interact with all levels within the organization and community when providing support.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent PC skills, with working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, CorelDRAW, Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat (pdf), Constant Contact, and other applicable software.
- Ability to work and interact with customers of all ages on an ongoing basis.
- Strong time management/organizational skills to meet deadlines is essential.
- Self-starter with the ability to work on multiple programs simultaneously.
- Demonstrates creativity.

- Valid Driver's License
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Production oriented, deadline driven, fast-paced office environment.
- Some group and solo travel required (extensive travel required for certain events).
- Some Saturdays are scheduled workdays (e.g., Pinnacle Awards Banquet, Pike County Bowl).
- Some moderate to heavy lifting required.
