The Marketing Assistantis a professional who assists with ongoing marketing campaigns. This individual will work closely with the Marketing Team to help build brand awareness and increase sales.
Core Responsibilities:
- Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s activities.
- Employ marketing analytic techniques to gather important data (social media, web analytics, rankings etc.).
- Assist the organizing of promotional events and traditional or digital campaigns.
- Responsible for direct mail and getting material out
- Apparel ordering, inventory tracking, and
- Maintain and coordinate inventory of branded collateral and promotional
- Manage company canvassing app data and coordinate mailings and emails from the data
- Coordinate community outreach initiatives and company
- Collect, manage, and upload data to
- Support the marketing department with content creation for social media, emails, and
- Assist with sales collateral
- Assist with photography
- Create PowerPoint Presentations as
- Perform other duties as
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in related field, preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- 1-2 years of marketing experience.
- Creative/graphic design experience, preferred.
- 2+ years of Home Improvement Industry experience, a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both spoken and
- Good understanding of office management and marketing principles.
- Proven ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines.
- Must be well organized with a customer-oriented approach.
- Strong knowledge of market research techniques and databases.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office, marketing computer software and online applications (CRM tools, Online analytics, Google AdWords etc.)
- Exquisite communication and people skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team setting.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
