Job Title: Medical device Market Analytics

Location: 100% Remote- WI

Duration: 6 Months contract

Is this a temp to perm position – Possibly but not guaranteed

Work shift (days/times) – Needs to be able to cover USA early morning meetings for Europe, USA, Asia. Some evening meetings may be required. Assuming USA based.

- This is a global role. The starting time typically is 7:00 am CST and there may be evening calls as well. Mornings are very busy for the team and we want to clearly convey this to candidates in case they have other morning responsibilities.

-Please focus on very strong data analytics for Global Ultrasound Market estimates and forecasts.

- Manager only wants candidates living in CST or EST, no Mountain or PST will work.

The team is looking for someone who is a Marketing Operations Analyst with the ability to do market sizing estimates and forecasting capabilities. Needs to have stellar excel skills and the ability to work in a fast pace environment. The understanding of how to incorporate maco-economic trends, third party reports and internal data.

Work Location – Remote, need to be able to support globally with different time zones. Occasionally, there may be a late or early call. Typical starting time is 7am cst.

Required skill set – Medical device market analytics, highly proficient at Excel (Macros, VLOOKUP, Index, Match, etc), Smartsheet, PowerPoint and competitive intelligence expertise.

Summary

This position will focus on global market sizing and forecasting for the ultrasound segment at GE HealthCare. Development and upkeep of all backend files for statistical models to forecast future growth by product and region. Ability to interlink Healthcare environment, macro-economic and historical data to forecast future year market growth. Collection, interpretation and reporting of market research.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Collect, validate, maintain, and update relevant information about ultrasound global market sizing.

• Supply market data and perspectives on market trends and forecast. Provide analyses to support strategic thinking and operational decision making.

• Understanding of statistical models to forecast and comfortable with large datasets and analysis.

• Improve and simplify analytical forecasting models for improved accuracy

• Partnership with FP&A, Regional Marketing, Subsegment Marketing, Competitive Intelligence and Investor Relation team.

• Uses some judgment and has some ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated, day-to-day problems with projects, product lines, and markets. Ability to prioritize information for decision making.

• Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. Uses multiple internal and external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions.

• Good project management and attention to deadlines.

Required Qualifications

• This role requires advanced experience in Excel and analytical packages (Macros, VLOOKUP, Index, Match, etc).

• PowerPoint presentation automation skills

• Have knowledge and experience in forecasting, statistical methods, etc.

• For roles in USA - Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college with at least 4 years of relevant experience.

• Highly responsive and enjoys a fast pace environment.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to partner with global colleagues from around the world.

Desired Characteristics

• The candidate should be willing to do granular level Excel work, and design formulas.

• Strong analytical skills: able to clearly link external market environment to market sizing forecast

• Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.
