What you will be doing
Albertson's Companies is looking for people who are interested in re-imagining the grocery experience by harnessing the power of digital technologies to optimize how we reach our customers.
As an Analyst on the Analytical Consulting team, you will be part of a fast-growing Analytical Consulting team reporting to the Sr Analytics Manager and supporting the national account Sales teams and Account Managers at Albertsons Media Collective.
The Analytical Consulting team is the analytics center of excellence that provides data driven storytelling for holistic campaign performance, best in class client consultations, and serves as the business stakeholder to support innovative enhancements for the Albertsons Media Collective.
The position will be based in Pleasanton, CA, or one of our main regional offices.
Main responsibilities
- You will be responsible for supporting campaign analysis and providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
- You will dive deeply into data performing hands-on analysis, build reporting deliverables and provide recommendations that will have a meaningful impact to advertisers.
- You will utilize your knowledge of analytics and statistics to draw insights, interpret complex data, and present it in a way that is easy for business leaders to understand.
- You will utilize your knowledge of SQL to both answer ad hoc marketing questions and ensure accuracy of the data you are providing.
The salary range is $54,600 to $71,040 annually. Starting salary will vary based on criteria such as location, experience, and qualifications. There may be flexibility for exceptional candidates. Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, sick pay, PTO/Vacation pay/Flexible Time Off, paid holidays (8-9 days annually) bereavement pay and retirement benefits (such as 401(k) eligibility).

What we are searching for
- A self-starter who can drive projects with limited guidance
- Has strong organizational and communication skills
- Experience using project management platforms like JIRA
- Proficiency in SQL
- Ability to work cross functionally with stakeholders across multiple different teams
We believe the successful candidate has these qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Business, Marketing or related field
- 1+ years' experience in media and marketing analytics and measurement within an advertising agency or retail media network
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
