OVERVIEW
As a Marketing Agency Account Director, you will play a pivotal role in managing and growing client relationships. You will be responsible for developing strategic marketing initiatives that align with clients' business goals and overseeing the execution of these plans to ensure success. Your leadership will foster strong partnerships, drive revenue growth, and enhance brand visibility.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive partner marketing strategies to meet client objectives and drive revenue growth.
- Manage a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring high satisfaction levels, retention, and account growth.
- Act as the primary liaison between the agency and clients, maintaining open and effective communication channels.
- Collaborate with creative, digital, and strategy teams to develop and execute campaigns that resonate with target audiences and achieve measurable results.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions and keep clients ahead in their markets.
- Oversee the financial aspects of client accounts, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to ensure profitability.
- Lead and mentor account management teams, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and excellence.
- Participate in new business development efforts, including pitching, proposal development, and contract negotiations.
- Ensure that all marketing strategies and campaigns are delivered on time, within budget, and exceed client expectations.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a Marketing Agency or client-facing role, with a proven track record of managing successful partner marketing campaigns.
- Must have B2B Technology or SaaS account management industry experience
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams towards achieving goals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Deep understanding of marketing principles, strategies, and tactics, including digital marketing.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strategic thinker with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in new business development, including identifying opportunities and leading pitches.
