Job Summary: In this role, the Market Business Manager Aviation is responsible for driving new business growth for SEKISUI KYDEX in the Global Aviation market. This employees focus is on driving value to our key, core customers through living the SEKISUI KYDEX brand promise of challenging what's possible, delivering beyond imagination. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Analyze, formulate, and iterate business strategy for key, core markets: Analyze current state of Aviation Business Formulate desired future state of Aviation Business Develop plan to achieve the future state, set objectives, and iterate business strategy as necessary Strategically grow customer base and markets in key, core markets: Market analysis of each market segment to include: Market size and growth Market segmentation Key market players and their needs Business strategy and opportunity analysis (e.g., SWOT) Value Mapping New product development plan Develop profitable new business opportunities with strategic Airframe Manufacturers, OEMs, Designers, Airlines and Key Decision Makers in the Global Aviation Market or within core markets.
Develop a product and price strategy by market segment Analyze each market segment to position products with the best value proposition to increase profitability. Become a thought leader in key, core market and lead the organization: Participate in key industry trade associations, journals, and shows Conduct knowledge seminars with design firms, airlines, direct accounts, and OEMs Work collaboratively with the Regional Business Managers on new potential business Stay current and communicate market conditions, competitive activities, trends, and dynamics Work collaboratively and support all internal customers including Production, R&D, Quality, appLab, designLab and Customer Collaboration Align business development goals with company goals and provide on-time, accurate reports of business activity: Meet required KPIs to include: Budget Sales $, LBS, ASP and MP2 for KYDEX Aviation Business Budget Expenses Track budget results using CRM and Power BI. Provide accurate quarterly, half-year and yearly forecasts Maintain a comprehensive opportunity target list for new business pipeline which is tracked in CRM Implement company business strategy Support a cohesive, strong-performing global team: Participate in weekly communications with the entire business team to identify opportunities, threats, outlook, and lead follow-up Train and mentor, the aviation business team on KYDEX brand, culture, and products Collaboratively work with the Aviation Business Coordinator Other duties as assigned Basic Qualifications: Bachelors degree with 10 years of related, progressive experience in Business Development Equivalent experience of at least 15 years in related role progression in lieu of a degree Proven track record of successfully developing and managing new business Excellent mathematics and computer skills (Microsoft Office, Power BI, CRM systems, and databases) Demonstrated experience in managing a team at a professional level and effective commercial experience in running a business unit Must have strong reasoning and analytical skills to develop and analyze business plans, contracts, purchase orders, etc.

Travel Requirements: Must be able to travel up to 70% of the time, domestically and internationally Physical and Mental Requirements: Light exerting up to 20lbs/9kg of force frequently, and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to move objects Proven ability to work in-person and in a virtual environment in a global organization and to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a dynamic environment Effectively makes independent and sound judgments within role scope.
