SUMMARY:

Guardian Agriculture is in search of an experienced Manufacturing Technician to play a significant role in the development and manufacture of unmanned and automated equipment and support systems. What You Will Do:

• You will work with the manufacturing teams to continue developing and implementing manufacturing processes for assembly lines.
• You will have a direct impact on the reliability and success of our autonomous systems, and your responsibilities will range from initial prototyping to final production at rate.
• As an Electromechanical Manufacturing technician, you will be responsible for building, testing, and installing parts, components, and subsystems in our EVTOL system.
• You will inform, maintain, and help create manufacturing processes, tooling, fixtures and jigs, and you will interface with the vehicle and subsystems from an individual electrical component level all the way to final mechanical assembly and testing.
• You will be challenged to both incorporate, as well as create, new processes and designs, and to work closely with the rest of the team to maximize throughput across the entire production floor.

Responsibilities for this role includes:

• Daily hands-on electrical and mechanical assembly work
• Ability to accurately and consistently follow (and sometimes modify) assembly process steps such as fastener torquing, electrical testing, and jigging and fixturing.
• Performance and development of process and quality inspection steps and a willingness to provide critical and creative feedback to other parts of the team, as well as driving troubleshooting efforts.
• Creation and maintenance of accurate and organized manufacturing, technical, and process documentation, and other documentation relevant to controlled, repeatable, and effective execution of complex tasks.
• Maintenance, inspection and improvement of work areas, resources, and manufacturing equipment
• The creation of and adherence to internal and external safety standards, including proper use of PPE

To Be Successful You Will Have:

• 3-5 years of experience as a technician in an environment that created, modified and/or shipped electrical and electromechanical products to customers.
• Hands-on work ethic and ego-free collaboration skills
• Strong ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Experience fabricating and/or installing electrical components into larger assemblies.
• Experience and confidence using basic hand and power tools.
• Ability to interpret drawings, schematics, and diagrams.
• Ability to occasionally lift 50lb, bend, and kneel.
• Experience doing hi-voltage assembly work is preferred, especially with lithium batteries.
• Experience with CAD but using Onshare is preferred.
• A history of IPC Standard Certifications is preferred but not required.
• Desire and ability to learn and to have a positive attitude.
