Manufacturing Technician

To keep up with our rapid growth, we are looking for a Manufacturing Specialist to join our growing team, all while being a leading example of our company culture.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and revise documentation for assembly, testing, and packaging operations, addressing any gaps.
• Conduct process mapping and analysis to improve production efficiency and reduce costs.
• Propose innovative solutions for continuous improvement using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Monitor progress, track key metrics, deliver improved performance levels, and regularly report on achievements and areas for further improvement to Montreal management.
• Act as the first-level escalation for troubleshooting activities by providing technical support, assisting with technical problem resolution and coordinate with key experts within the team.
• Support pre-pilot and pilot productions for new product introductions.
• Manage assigned technical projects, meeting targets, budgets, and timelines.
• Serve as a liaison between Montreal headquarters and Indianapolis Operations, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
• Actively participate in continuous improvement processes and foster a culture of excellence.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and Health and Safety rules.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive operational excellence.
• Provide training, guidance, and knowledge sharing.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in manufacturing engineering.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

• Associates degree in industrial, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Six sigma Green belt certified;
• Over 3 years of progressive experience in Tech. field;
• Competent use of statistics tools related to Operational metrics;
• High comprehensive knowledge of Operations processes;
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction;
• Ability to maintain a spirit of learning with a positive attitude of receiving feedback and ongoing training;
• Excellent communication skills and problem solving aptitudes;
