Role Details:
- Direct Hire!
- Salary: $55,000-$70,000 (dependent on experience)
On a typical day you will:
- Develop and maintain supplier relationships
- Utilize MRP to purchase assigned categories of materials
- Review requisitions for completeness, convert requisitions to purchase orders, and place purchase orders with suppliers
- Interface and assist other departments with requisition creation, supplier evaluation, supplier selection, and negotiations
- Obtain competitive bids
- Coordinate and arrange for the processing of rejected materials
- Maintain material master data on assigned categories of materials
- Manage inventory levels to establish targets
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred degrees: Supply Chain, Engineering, or Business Administration)
- Proficient with MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with SAP or ERP; preferred
