Primary Purpose Summary
This is a strategic position responsible for developing and implementing the production plan considering all necessary information including sales forecasts, related department schedules, and other factors. This position performs timely analyses of internal and external capabilities and recommends appropriate actions. The employee will develop strategies to meet or exceed organizational objectives on a daily basis while working closely with all other departments as needed to achieve short-term and long-term objectives.
Detailed Description:
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
· Partner with manufacturing shift managers and management to support manufacturing program planning and execution across the site
· Primary point of contact for site KPIs and metrics
· Responsible for generating and distribute reports to the division manage data integrity from different systems, and analyze data for various projects
· Analyzes manufacturing processes to identify improvement areas in efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality
· Manage operational reporting on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
· Reviews material flow parameters such as order quantity, lot size, make cycle frequency, replenishment interval, and recommends appropriate levels to support the business/customer requirements
· Assists with managing raw material and semi-finished inventory buffer quantities
· Provide ad-hoc data analysis for the divisions
· Conduct training on metrics, reporting and business intelligence tools
· Acquires data from primary and secondary data sources, interpreting and analyzing results using statistical techniques
· Identifies, analyzes, and interprets trends and patterns in complex data sets
· Participates in partnering and problem-solving discussions between key stakeholders
· Provides strong project management skills to meet complex business needs with aggressive performance objectives
· Responsible for developing manufacturing improvement business cases and profitability modeling
· Reinforces and oversees on-the-job training integrity
· Develops individualized task analysis and specialized training strategies
· Assists in the design and execution of customized training solutions
· Identifies top producers and rolls out best practices update
· Identifies separation risks and informs mitigation planning
· Advocates for and reinforces Aptar culture
· Produce reports and make presentations as required by management
· Collaborates and expands relationships with program subject matter experts and company stakeholders
· Follows and promotes all Aptar policies and procedure
· Lead by example in executing all duties and responsibilities
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor degree in a STEM field (e.g. Mechanical, Industrial engineering).
· Proficient in Microsoft office – (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
· Experience with a Manufacturing Execution and/or Planning System (e.g
SAP, Proprietary, Oracle, JDA, etc…)
· Six Sigma Green Belt Certification (nice to have)

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $34.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
