JOB DESCRIPTION:

You will be provided with personal mentoring and guidance from world class turbomachinery engineers while transitioning your educational background to real world application.

Designs and analyzes aircraft mechanical, propulsion, component structures, systems, and processes. Carry out design and performance for new and redesign turbine hardware, non-turbine engine structures, field failures and production support. Ability to make technical presentations internally and to customers. Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Must be able to work with customers to define and document requirements, address technical concerns, and provide project status.

Manufacturing Operations Engineer

The Manufacturing Operations Engineer (MOE) will have the desire and educational background to support projects with requirements related to manufactured hardware. Professional or internship experience is preferred but not required. This role will require basic understanding of project & manufacturing engineering, as the MOE will support integrated product teams (IPTs) by setting up and maintaining Bills of Materials (BoMs), managing internal & external manufacturing-related activities, maintaining external supplier relationships, and interfacing with Quality Engineering to ensure that product and non-product are in line with company quality procedures and to disposition any non-conforming material. Background in metallurgy, joining operations, coatings, and additive manufacturing techniques are a plus but can be learned on the job.

Education and Experience:

BS, MS or PHD in applicable Engineering field with 0-2 years of applicable work experience.
