We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our expanding chemical company. This is a strategic and technical role that involves managing a team of Supervisors, Engineers, Team Leaders, and Operators. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for optimizing all aspects of production, improving asset reliability, and implementing short and long-term capital project plans.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute weekly, monthly, and annual production plans.
- Maintain a strong focus on employee engagement, talent development, and succession planning.
- Optimize production processes and reduce waste.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with other areas of the plant.
- Plan and allocate resources to achieve production targets.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and take appropriate actions to address any issues.
- Implement maintenance programs to reduce unplanned downtime and maintenance costs.
- Improve manufacturing performance and stakeholder satisfaction by leading incident investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective action.
- Manage the operating budget, including labor and material costs.
Qualifications:
- BS Chemical Engineering degree with 10+ years of Operations/ Manufacturing Management experience in a PSM regulated plant - chemical, petrochemical, or refinery industries.
- Strong operations leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Proven ability to implement and sustain continuous improvement initiatives.
- Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Demonstrated experience in managing a budget and controlling costs.

Salary: $160,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
