We are looking to hire a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician for our SLC office. Please read the information below, prior to applying:

Responsibilities:
- Would be a part of the maintenance, electric, and hydraulic work teams.
- Ability to self-direct activities, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Be able to work up to 12 hours per day, any scheduled times, including overnight and weekend shifts as needed.
- Demonstrate a theoretical understanding of safety requirements to include OSHA safety requirements.
- Safely and effectively use and repair of pneumatic systems to include high pressure compressed air distribution systems and hydraulic systems to include cylinders and pumps.
- Conducts the troubleshooting and resolution of electronic services or repairs including programmable logic controllers (PLC), drives, and related equipment..
Qualifications:
- Manufacturing experience is strongly preferred.
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); some technical coursework preferred
- Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, and pneumatics
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- 2 years of Electronics Technology or Industrial Technology experience in related field preferred
- Positive and progressive PLC experience
- Ability to collaborate and communicate with all levels of employees and management.
SCHEDULE DEMANDS:
Training typically conducted on days shift for up to 90 days of employment depending on skills and ability.
Work schedules are normally 8 hour shifts, 5 days per week. Some Saturday work is possible at times of increased demand.
- May be scheduled for rotating days off (12 hour continuous rotations 3 days on 4 days off and 4 days on 3 days off depending A, B, C & D shift rotations).
- Must be able to work any scheduled times, including overnight and weekend shifts as needed.
- Must be able to work overtime as needed, including extra hours on short notice.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. repeatedly and up to 50 lbs. frequently for up to 12 hours.
- Reading computer screens or other electronic devices.
- Work in areas of fluctuating temperature.
- Required to wear personal protective equipment (including but not limited to steel toe shoes, earplugs, safety glasses, and hairnet)
- Ability to use a hand truck, drum dolly, and electric pallet jack as needed
