The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Process Lead with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and the capability to build relationships.
As the Manufacturing Innovation Business Process Lead, you will play a crucial role in driving productivity and innovation within our manufacturing operations. This position will report directly to the Manufacturing 4.0 Strategy and Innovation Manager and will collaborate closely with the Manufacturing Innovation team, Shop Directors, and Manufacturing Engineering Centers.
What You'll Do (Responsibilities)
Identify Productivity Opportunities: Collaborate with the Manufacturing Innovation team, Shop Directors, and Manufacturing Engineering Centers to identify and evaluate opportunities for improved productivity in our manufacturing processes. This includes analyzing existing workflows, systems, and technologies to uncover areas for optimization.
Manage Innovation Budget: This responsibility includes all budgeting, forecasting, ROI analysis, and reporting, as well as dynamically managing innovation portfolio and allocates funds to enable the initiation of a new project whenever an innovation opportunity or need emerges at any time during the year.
Manufacturing Innovation Business Case Creation : Lead the creation and management of Manufacturing Innovation Business Cases to support the implementation of productivity initiatives. This involves gathering data, conducting cost-benefit analyses, and presenting recommendations to key stakeholders.
Drive Innovation and Productivity: Develop and manage a portfolio of innovation and productivity projects. Ensure alignment with company objectives, prioritize initiatives, assign owners and track progress towards achieving desired outcomes.
Develop, Execute and Maintain Innovation Portfolio Database : Create a new innovation project portfolio database within BrightIdea for recording, tracking, and managing innovation projects. Coordinate with PE and R&D to create a common solution, so that innovation projects can be tracked across all MRLs.
Build Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including internal teams, partners, and vendors. Collaborate effectively to drive cross-functional initiatives and leverage external expertise when necessary.

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
5+ years of experience in manufacturing, business development, or a similar role
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, technologies, and industry trends
Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders, including senior executives, shop directors, plant and engineering teams
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation
Demonstrated project management experience, including the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and deliver results within deadlines
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences
