Pediatric Registered Nurse

Position:Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Staten Island, NY

Schedule: Flexible, 12-hour night shifts (Non-negotiable)

Salary: $60.00 per hour

Weekly Hours: 3x12, Monday to Friday with rotating weekends, as needed

Responsibilities:

1. Provide skilled nursing care to pediatric patients with G-Tube and Trach requirements in home care.
2. Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and conduct assessments for proper care.
3. Manage G-Tube feedings, medication administration, and tracheostomy care.
4. Collaborate with physicians, caregivers, and families for comprehensive care plans.
5. Educate patients and caregivers on G-Tube and Trach care, maintenance, and emergencies.
6. Maintain accurate medical records and offer emotional support to patients and families.

Requirements:

1. Current NYS RN license.
2. 2 years pediatric nursing experience with G-Tube and Trach care.
3. BLS and PALS certifications.
4. Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
5. Compassionate and patient-focused approach.

Preferred Experience:

2 years Pediatric Nursing, Tracheostomy Care, and Home Care.
