Job DescriptionPosition Summary:
Seeking Rising Juniors with graduation dates of December 2025-May of 2026. The ITW Engineering Internship will be located at our Paris, KY facility from mid May until beginning of August 2024. If relocation is required, a relocation bonus will be offered. This role will report to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager and work with Manufacturing Engineers as well as operations staff. The internship projects/tasks will be critical to the support of the manufacturing and processing of screws and fasteners in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Core Responsibilities:
- Support new product & process implementation including robotics, plc programming, and data analysis.
- Support process improvement & troubleshooting
- Support ITW Safety Program initiative
- Perform CAD designs & design modifications
Expected Learnings:
- Learn about the overall manufacturing processes & daily operation of a manufacturing facility
- Learn about the process of new product implementation & debugging
- Learn about equipment work instruction, research, writing, & training
- Learn to collaborate with engineering, maintenance, operations, quality, & marketing departments
Job Requirements:
- Enrollment in a 4 year accredited college with a major in the engineering scope.
- 2D & 3D CAD skills preferred, good communication skills, inquisitive nature, and an interest in being “hands on”.
- Mechanical or Electrical Engineering coursework.
- Material science & electrical knowledge is a plus.
