As a Manufacturing Engineer Intern with ITW Evercoat you will get to do just that while being part of an industry leading business. During this internship you will get to lead projects that support the continuous improvement strategies for batch chemical processing and packaging of liquid products. You will get broad based exposure to various business functions including Quality, Finance, Integrated Supply Chain, and Production & Design Engineering.
Education/Experience Requirements:
- Must currently be successfully enrolled in a cooperative education program pursuing your Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a similar Engineering field.
- Comfortable working safely in a chemical manufacturing environment
- Possess strong analytic and statistic skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Physical Requirements:
- Able to lift 50 lbs. of various raw materials
- Able to wear a half-face respirator (no full beards - mustache and goatee are acceptable)
- Able to work for short periods of time in 95F environments
- Able to stand for one-hour periods
