About this opportunity

As a part of establishing USA 5G Smart Factory, we are now recruiting for a Manufacturing Engineer Intern to help develop, implement and maintain cost efficient, ergonomic and safe production, claims and repair processes, equipment and tools according to production rules.
What you will do
- Participate in Pre-dev and Early Phase study activities
- Collaborate with Product Design Unit on mechanical related issues
- Participate in Product and Production verification processes
- Cooperate with equipment suppliers
- Provide Time and Motion study analysis (operation time measurement, work environmental analysis, methods and ergonomics analysis)
- Help develop flow efficiency in the production processes (optimized line balance and labor utilization)
- Determine cycle times, bottlenecks and technical capacity
- Secure that time study data is correct and available for all stakeholders
- Use Lean and Six Sigma methodology for production process design and development
You will bring
- Student in pursuit of a bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or other similar technical area
- Critical thinking, innovative ideas and problem-solving skills
- Team working skills
- Interest in time studies, process flow, and writing work instructions to drive training
This position reports directly to Thiago Veloso
