Our Jacksonville manufacturing facility has about 250 employees operating over three shifts.Job Summary:Develops, plans, coordinates and implements Manufacturing Engineering projects consisting of complex features in order to best support the plant and its' operations.Duties and Responsibilities:* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop mechanical systems and components for the production line.* Ensure the integration of mechanical components with automation and control systems.* Perform detailed engineering calculations, simulations, and analysis to optimize mechanical designs.* Participate in the selection of materials, manufacturing processes, and suppliers.* Conduct testing and validation of mechanical systems to ensure quality and performance standards are met.* Identify and troubleshoot mechanical or hydraulic issues, providing solutions to minimize production downtime.* Contribute to continuous improvement efforts to enhance production line efficiency and reliability.* Create and maintain detailed documentation of mechanical designs and processes.* Stay current with industry trends and advancements in mechanical engineering and automation technology.Qualifications:* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.* Proven experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in an automated manufacturing environment.* Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.) for mechanical design.* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.* Knowledge of automation and control systems is a plus.* Experience with high-pressure fluid systems is desirable.* Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to mechanical engineering.Travel Requirements:OccasionalPhysical Requirements:Essential physical requirements, such as climbing stairs, standing, stooping, or typing.
