Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a position in Grand Prairie, TX to join the Advanced ProgramsManufacturing Engineering team supporting Advanced Programs in development. This program area implements cutting edge aerospace and manufacturing technologies to meet some of our customers greatest challenges. Come join the team and be an integral part of the product development process where Manufacturing Engineering can have the greatest impact on design for manufacturing/automation and producibility to shape the future of the program.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or related technical area, from an accredited college in a related discipline
Experience with manufacturing processes and assembly sequences (circuit card assembly, machining, complex cable routing, final assembly and integration)
Working knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma skills and ability to identify process issues/opportunities and implement cost saving solutions (affordability)
Skilled in interpretation of Engineering specifications and manufacturability drawing review
Strong ability in written and verbal technical communication skills. The candidate must be able to communicate effectively across multiple levels of the business and remote collaboration
U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a U.S. DoD Security clearance
Desired skills
Candidate should have a good understanding and demonstrated application of technical and problem solving skills in the area of manufacturing and production.
Knowledge of Missile Manufacturing and familiarity with LM Troy Operations
Experience with development programs and manufacturing readiness levels
Experience in applying automation solutions. Candidates with robotics/automation specialization will have experience and skills in Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), Human Machine Interface (HMI), and robotic automation
Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
Experience in effective team leadership in planning and execution of Process Improvements and technical solutions
Demonstrated ability to exercise business acumen with appropriate capital and facility planning, justification and execution
Experience with manufacturing tooling design and fabrication
Knowledge of LM systems such as SAP, Apriso, etc. for producing hardware
Experience with CREO/Pro-E and Model Based Engineering

Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Colorado Pay Statement
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $78,500 - $150,400. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full time employees: accrue 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO); receive 40 hours of Granted PTO annually for incidental absences; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of PTO per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO is prorated based on hours worked and start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.

The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $90,200 - $170,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
