JOB SUMMARY: The Manufacturing Engineer will research and develop tools, processes, machines and equipment with systems that are integrated into the manufacturing facility. The goal is to produce quality products in a cost-efficient way. Manufacturing Engineering involves both Industrial Engineering and Mechanical Engineering skills.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Decide if a project’s operations are safe and inspect malfunctioning products to determine develop a solution.
- Create work instructions, define processes and procedures, coordinate tooling, interface with customer on manufacturing related product build issues and actions.
- Maintain quality and safety standards, document control, and support the engineering needs of all manufacturing operations.
- Review and update processes and procedures to support business requirements.
- Evaluating the designs to ensure they meet customer satisfaction, engineering principles and environment regulations.
- Creating the foundation for manufacture methods, quality standards and date of delivery
- Study equipment requirements, research testing methods and work with equipment vendors
- May lead technical and/or cross-functional teams to conduct technology transfer, process optimization, and investigations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Minimum Bachelor s degree in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or equivalent engineering degree.
· Experience in all elements of manufacturing from design development, re-engineering, to assembly/integration
· 2+ years of experience in a Manufacturing Engineering role
· 2+ years of experience with design and Manufacturing Engineering, manufacturing planning, assembly integration and test, including industrial engineering concepts.
· Ability to work on complex projects with general direction and minimal supervision.
· Thorough knowledge of materials planning systems (MRP/ERP) requirements and order generation process logic.
· Experience leading or managing projects and/or teams.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· Demonstrated experience in complex machining environment.
· Experience leading or managing projects and/or teams.
· Experience establishing manufacturing build plans.
· Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality, Supplier Quality, or Manufacturing, in the aviation, automotive, or related industry preferred.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
