Our busy hotel is seeking an energetic, customer-oriented Maintenance Engineer to ensure that all of our visitors have an excellent experience at our property. You'll be in charge of the building's maintenance and preventative programs daily to ensure people's enjoyment, health, and safety. Compensation:$50,000 - $55,000 yearly
Responsibilities:- Keep an open line of communication with other team members and staff
- Collaborate with other personnel who will help you with maintenance tasks
- Observe all engineering safety rules and criteria
- Manage the hotel's machinery and preventive maintenance procedures
- Work with a variety of tools hammers and screwdrivers, indicators and edge finders, drills, wrenches, and other maintenance tools of the trade
- Handle maintenance issues as quickly as possible to assure guest satisfaction
- Ensure all Rooms are PM in a timely manner
- Complete all work orders and fix maintenance problems promptly
- Adhere to all engineering safety norms and procedures
- Respond to emergencies that happen before, during, and after your regular work shifts
- Ability to use web-based software, including facilities maintenance software preferred
- You should have the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record required
- This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent GED
- 2-4 years of maintenance experience is required for this role
