Manufacturing Engineer

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and improving manufacturing processes, optimizing production efficiency, and ensuring product quality. This is a full-time position based in Fletcher, NC.

Responsibilities:
- Talk with customers on phone, in-person, and at trade shows to determine what products we have to help them in their business.
- Design and optimize product designs to suit their needs. Includes working with mechanical engineers, software engineers, and machinists to make most cost-effective solution.
- Quote customers and lead TEAMS meetings to discuss products/solutions.
- Participate in the building and qualification of custom gages.
- Participate in the on-site setup of gages.
- Visit customers yearly to maintain and certify gages.
- Provide technical support to production teams and assist in troubleshooting equipment or process problems

Skills:
- Strong phone and email communication skills
- Ability to read and understand Solidworks CAD models and drawings.
- Experience with ISO certified companies
- Familiarity with scheduling your own travel: airfare, hotels, etc.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex manufacturing issues
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
- 2 year engineering degree required. 4 year degree preferred.
- Ability to speak multiple languages is a plus.
- Must have valid drivers license without recent infractions. Having a passport is a plus.
- Must have mechanical aptitude and understand manufacturing processes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $54,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
