Chipton Ross is seeking 4 Manufacturing Engineers for a contract position in Stuart, FL.

Position Summary
Oversees designs and plan layouts for machining, metal forming, processing, welding, assembly, and materials handling. Adapts machine or equipment design to factory and production conditions. Plans for the arrangement of machines within plant facilities to ensure most efficient and productive layout. Oversees plan sequence of operations and specifies procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment and other functions that affect product performance. May incorporate inspection and test requirements into the production plan. Inspects performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify their efficiency. Investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality. Provides guidance to Level 1 and 2 Engineers and oversees design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.
Position Requirements
" The successful candidate will typically have a Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline and 10-15 years related experience, or a Master's Degree and 5-10 years related experience
" Candidate must have extensive experience working with Structural Components in the Aerospace industry
" The individual must possess outstanding communication skills that enable him/her to work independently with related disciplines
" The individual must be able to work within multi-disciplinary teams and provide leadership/mentoring for team members
" Candidate must have strong computer skills and should have experience using Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, CATIA, and SAP
" Candidate must have extensive experience applying technical standards, principles and techniques with evidence of progressive levels of responsibility
" Candidate must have experience developing solutions to technical problems of moderate scope and complexity

Work Schedule
Must be able to work either 1st or 2nd shift, shifts will not be guaranteed so must be able to work any of these shifts.
1st Shift: Starts at 6am
2nd shift: Starts at 2:30pm
