We are searching for a dedicated, hardworking and focused Manufacturing Associate to fulfill our company’s book production needs. The Manufacturing Associate is responsible for ensuring that all functions of the production facility run smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will be capable of working in a fast-paced environment, operating machinery, and following instructions. The Manufacturing Associate will also be required to multi-task and to work as part of a team to achieve maximum productivity. They should have exceptional organizational and time management skills in order to meet strict shipping deadlines.. Following safety standards is also imperative to this position. The Manufacturing Associate is essential to the productivity of our company, thus we need someone who is reliable and dependable in the position.

* This is a seasonal position: April thru June (pending workload). It is a 4x10 shift including alternating weekends 4pm-2:30am. *

Duties and Responsibilities:.

• Monitor the efficiency of the production line to ensure timely load and shipment
• Assemble and prepare books for shipment
• Complete QC on books
• Maintain proper storage areas for materials and product inventory in warehouse
• Organize inventory in an easy-to-access process
• Utilize machinery to assemble and bind books
• Maintain the quality and upkeep of warehouse including machinery
• Maximize equipment up-time through timely response and effective operating procedures.
• Complete all aspects of the job on time and error-free.
• Provide accurate feedback with quality control and troubleshooting of equipment errors.
• Move materials or completed products and packages to established locations

Skills and Qualifications:

• High School or GED education. Technical training preferred.
• Experience working in a warehouse environment. Manufacturing preferred.
• English fluency required
• Ability to follow directions accurately
• Attention to detail and organization skills
• Strong communication skills
• Project management skills
• Time management skills
• Good technical and mechanical skills
• Computer literate.
• Ability to lift and carry between 25 and 50 pounds. Ability to pull, lift, reach and transport equipment parts and boxes.
• Ability to stand, pull, squat, sit, walk, kneel, speak, and hear, twist, reach and push up to 200 pounds

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
