Cleveland, Ohio area manufacturer is seeking to hire a 2nd ShiftManual Machinist
REQUIREMENTS
- High School Graduate (Trade School or post-secondary education is a plus)
- Manual Machinist work experience preferred (entry level trained candidates will be considered)
- Able to work 2nd Shift (3:30pm - 12am)
- Perform milling operations such as drilling, tapping, boring and conventional milling (e.g., horizontal and vertical mills and horizontal boring mills).
- Perform lathe work, using large engine lathes with a maximum swing of 10'.
- Perform various metalizing (metal spraying) techniques as needed.
- Set up and perform tool-post grinding procedures and Babbitt bearing work.
- Use various hand-held and stationary power and non-power tools, including but not limited to: band saws, belt sanders, hand grinder, files, etc.
- Utilize lift trucks, overhead cranes and gantry cranes
- Welding & brazing is a plus
