Managing Director, Investment Banking

Specialized boutique serving financial services companies (lenders and originators), commercial real estate and fintech seeks senior investment banking professional. The ideal candidate will be able to originate, execute and place advisory and capital raising transactions. This candidate should feel comfortable taking on a range of responsibilities in marketing and business development and have success placing deals.

Responsibilities

• Initiate or lead advisory and capital raise assignments.
• Work with others on current mandates on documentation, financial modeling, marketing materials and marketing.
• Understand and communicate structured finance and/or deal structuring.
• Communicate and direct organization's conversations around priorities, goals, and organization improvement areas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related area
• 5+ years experience in capital markets or investment banking
• A track record of success in private transactions.
• Series 7/ 79 strongly preferred

Pay: $80,000.00 - $500,000.00 per year
