About the Role

As a Manager TPM you will be accountable for the acquisition, vendor strategy, lifecycle maintenance, and disposition of hardware for our Gap Inc stores. This role will be instrumental in maintaining and strategizing our break fix and construction stock levels, with partnership and influence across multiple stores teams. Additionally, you will acquire and strengthen relationships across the many Stores Hardware vendors, providing strategic and candid feedback and working with Sourcing and Product Management to deliver solutions.

What You'll Do
  • Ownership over day-to-day vendor operations and processes that supply hardware to Gap Inc stores; responsible for stock, supply, and lifecycle of financial plans for hardware acquisition.  
  • Collaborate with TPM, Support, Ops, and Finance to create, revise, and execute quarterly and ad-hoc purchases to satisfy hardware consumption. 
  • Maintain and strengthen vendor partner relations for hardware storage, replacement, and retirement need.  Provide candid feedback in strategic meetings to improve service, and delivery.  Maintain lifecycle data, influencing Product Management on new decisions as needed. 
  • Strategize with Support and Operations on hardware/vendor needs and efficiencies, saving the Stores and Gap Inc cost while maintaining supply and proposing planful execution. 
  • Develop and execute a hardware refurbishment or retirement strategy for each piece of hardware coming back from stores maximizing gain for Gap Inc and minimizing impact to the environment and Stores processes. 
  • Partner with Deployment and Finance leaders to transition new hardware deployments into supportable break-fix process, leverage Support and Operations to minimize effort and cost for Stores and Gap Inc. 
  • Ensure vendor inventories are accurate and complete, inspecting process and facilities annually or as driven by business need.  Forge strong relationships with Sourcing and Vendors to ensure execution and accountability. 
Who You Are
  • Knowledgeable within depot and vendor management activities, able to coordinate between Gap and vendors 
  • Proficient in all aspects of PM processes and demonstrates ability to execute complex workflows 
  • Aspires to be the subject matter expert in day-to-day depot activities, while leveraging a good understanding of tools and processes such as estimating, forecasting, capacity management, status reporting, risks/issue management and program plan 
  • Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and develop tools to solve existing and new problems with Store Hardware or Operational Processes 
  • Skilled in matrix management and facilitation 
  • Probe beyond the stated situation, identifies underlying issues and considers creative alternatives

Salary Range: $136,100 - $180,400 USD
Employee pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, skill level, competencies and work location. We will meet minimum wage or minimum of the pay range (whichever is higher) based on city, county and state requirements.
