Job Summary

The Manager, Supply Chain Planning role is responsible for developing and managing demand and supply plans in collaboration with supplier partners for the Xfinity Mobile business. This role is responsible for all activities related to materials management from forecasts to delivery including day-to-day communication and management of OEM partners, as it relates to planning, purchasing and order fulfillment. Additional responsibilities include developing a weekly demand and supply plan that fully supports demand for the direct-to-consumer and retail channels. This role requires the active collaboration with internal teams (i.e. Product/Finance/Operations) and suppliers to ensure supply meets our requirements and growth plans.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

- Plan, implement and manage strategies to maintain optimal inventory levels and achieve cost objectives for Xfinity Mobile Devices

- Manage and facilitate the collaborative planning, forecasting and replenishment (CPFR) process with key suppliers

- Ensure supplier shipments align with the inventory plan and meet delivery timing requirements

- Maintain inventory targets at the DC and participate in developing strategic inventory strategies

- Leverage a rolling monthly forecast of anticipated demand by product family

- Ensure the balance between supply and demand

- Assist in identifying demand / supply process gaps and creating improvement tactics and strategies

- Develop and facilitate cross-functional partnerships with Product, Finance, Operations, and key suppliers to drive step change improvements in the business

- Actively collaborate with Product Team to understand promotional activities, key trade changes, and other sales tactics that may impact the demand plan and adjust statistical forecasts where necessary

- Ensure new product introductions (NPI), promotional and EOL plans are included in the demand planning and supply planning processes

- Review variances between existing forecasts, plans and actuals to provide guidance, understanding trends and future impact

- Manage the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the team including forecast accuracy & attainment. Track performance, determine root causes of variance

- Analyze and develop strategies that support sales goals, improve product availability, increase inventory turns and minimize excess and obsolescence inventory

- Develop and manage inputs for the S&OP process

- Leverage and maintain planning system to achieve statistical forecasting objectives

- Collaborate with Supply Chain functional groups and with key stakeholders to identify gaps and action plans for improvements

- Actively participate in continuous improvement opportunities

- Ensure the planning teams are adhering to agreed master data management (MDM) policies to ensure a common understanding, consistency, accuracy and control in the ongoing maintenance and application use of information

- Supports the development of repeatable, and thus scalable, plans and processes in order to speed time to market and improve operational efficiency

Education Level

- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent

Field of Study

- Supply Chain Management, Business or related degree

Certifications

- CPIM Preferred

Years of Experience

- Generally, requires 6-9 years related experience
