As a Manager - Subsidy and Profitability, you will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing our device subsidy budget and Profitability, ensuring effective and efficient use of allocated funds. This role requires developing from scratch, implementing, and managing the entire process of our device subsidy program, including creating financial models, establishing policies, and ensuring the program's success through strategic partnerships and efficient processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage comprehensive financial models for device subsidy programs, including cost analysis, budgeting, and forecasting to meet targeted financial objectives
- Design and implement efficient processes for presenting KPIs on how the business is tracking to budget
- Conduct ongoing market research and analysis to understand industry trends, competitor strategies, and customer preferences. Use insights to inform program strategies and ensure competitive positioning.
- Serve as a central liaison among finance, marketing, supply chain, and sales teams to align device subsidy strategies with overall business objectives. Lead cross-functional projects to drive program improvements, market penetration, and customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with Pricing and Demand Planning teams to ensure device subsidy models reflects promotional strategies and demand projections.
- Ensure that all subsidy programs adhere to legal and regulatory standards. Assess and manage risks associated with the programs. Provide comprehensive reporting to senior management on program metrics, achievements, and areas for improvement.
- Be the subject matter expert on device Subsidy and any related inquiries from around the business
- Lead, mentor, and develop team members responsible for various aspects of the subsidy program, fostering an environment of continuous improvement, collaboration, and high performance.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Statistics, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in financial management or analysis, with a preference for experience in the telecom or technology sector.
- Demonstrated expertise in developing and managing financial models and budgets.
- Experience in designing and implementing processes or programs from the ground up.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building and maintaining relationships across various levels within the organization and with external partners.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Expert in Microsoft Office or Google Suite, especially Excel or Sheets, and financial modeling tools.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills
- Familiarity with analytics tools, such as Tableau, software preferred
The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
