Manager, Sec Reporting & Technical Accounting

SUMMARY: Lazydays RV is looking for a Senior Manager, Financial Reporting & Technical Accounting, who is an experienced leader with the proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multitask-oriented environment. The role reports directly to the Corporate Controller and will be responsible for managing the preparation and filing of all external financial reporting documents and related SEC filings, preparation of internal management reporting and managing the department's corporate accounting function. This position plays a key role in month-end and quarter-end reporting and year end audits and quarterly reviews with external auditors. This role also requires significant communication and collaboration with the other corporate-based accounting functional teams, corporate-level functional areas (IT, internal audit, FP&A, etc..), and others.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Prepare accurate quarterly and annual reporting and filing of SEC periodic reports such as Forms 8-K, 10-K, 10-Q, and annual reports
• Prepare timely, accurate internal monthly financial reporting package
• Prepare quarter close calendar related to SEC Reporting on Form 10-K/10-Q and earnings release
• Ensures compliance with all SEC and FASB rules and regulations
• Research, evaluate and document Technical Accounting implications of certain complex or non-standard transactions
• Analyses, researches, and concludes on new and proposed accounting, reporting and disclosure standards
• Manage corporate accounting to ensure proper recording of transactions and determine necessary GAAP, topside adjusting entries
• Identify and implement continuous improvements to processes and controls related to SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting
• Assist with the preparation of or review stock-based compensation accounting and forecast
• Assist in the Company's Sarbanes-Oxley compliance efforts in connection with the financial reporting process
• Manages and grows SEC reporting team
• Assist with ad-hoc requests and research as needed

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with significant SEC reporting and financial analysis responsibilities
• Certified Public Accountant and undergraduate accounting degree required
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
• Must effectively collaborate with all levels of the organization as well as external auditors
• Ability to manage a project including development and tracking of timelines/action plans
