Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Manager Program Control2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Weapon Systems Division. This leadership role will be integral part of the Business Management leadership team. The primary location for this position will be in Northridge, CA however, the hiring team may consider Full Time Teleworking depending on skills and experience of each candidate.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the Business Unit Schedule Management organization with deep integration with all other functional organizations
This role is fast paced and demanding. It will require a high level of work ethic and strategic adaptability
Responsible for the organization schedule execution
Accountable for Program schedule performance reporting, analysis, and compliance
Partner with and support the Program leadership team, Business Segments, Integrated Product Teams, and control account managers.
Schedule and Performance deliverables, forecasting, support to Resource Planning and Reporting, Process Improvements, and Proposal Support
This position is also an integrated team member of the Risk/Opportunity process, Program Baselines, Auditory Compliance and Surveillances, as well as Division and Sector leadership ad hoc activities
Basic Qualifications:
This position emphasizes skills and experience. Will consider: High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 10 years of Schedule/Cost/Business Management work experience
Will also consider 7 years of Schedule/Cost/Business Management work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 5 years with a Masters Degree
2+ years' experience in leading teams or an organization directly or indirectly
Extensive knowledge of establishing major Department of Defense program schedules and baselines at award for execution cost and compliance
Ability to obtain Interim or Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Extensive knowledge of Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) and Compliance
Working knowledge of EVMS Software (i.e. Cobra), Microsoft Project, Power BI, Project Server, Microsoft Office Suite, and Cost Accounting principles
Experience interfacing with customers or government audit agencies such as DCMA and DCAA, as well as Internal Audit
