About the Role
Leading the Poker Marketing team and reporting to the Senior Manager, Poker Marketing, the Manager, Poker Marketing is responsible for planning and executing omnichannel Poker events in collaboration with internal teams and MGM Resorts International as well as building our brand presence in market. A key touchpoint within the business, the Manager, Poker Marketing will also collaborate with central teams in Acquisition, Social Media, Regional Marketing, Creative, as well as the Poker team to bring the BetMGM Poker brand to life as a leader in the USA Poker market.
Responsibilities
- Delivering our omnichannel vision: Planning on-site events and supporting existing partner events, sourcing and contracting vendors as needed, securing resources to develop content, formalizing cohesive processes across all partner properties, and reporting on results based on agreed-upon KPIs.
- Customer Acquisition: Liaising with Digital Marketing and Affiliate teams to strategize and track results, coordinating on-property acquisition efforts with the Regional Marketing team, and sourcing new partnerships to grow our customer base.
- Content: Coordinating and planning with the Social Media team, ensuring a cohesive look and feel for the BetMGM, Borgata, and PartyPoker brands, developing and executing a hybrid land-based and online content strategy, and pursuing new poker talent opportunities.
In addition, other responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
- Refining our brand identity, position, and value proposition in the USA poker market
- Creating onboarding materials for new poker players
- Optimizing our web presence
- Competitor analysis, both online and land-based
- Collaborating with PR on media alerts and press releases related to Poker Marketing initiatives
- Liaising with analysts to report on KPIs related to Poker Marketing initiatives
- Utilizing project management tools to track campaign progress and request assets
- Leading the team of Poker Marketing Associates
- Assisting the SEO team with blog and other opportunities to create relevant written content
- Identifying fresh and interesting ways of making omnichannel initiatives best in class
Essential Functions
- Must be able to stand or sit and operate computers and other technological devices for extended periods of time
Qualifications
- 3+ years in a marketing role
- At least one year of people management experience
- Significant experience playing online or land-based poker
- Extraordinary attention to detail and organizational skills
- Motivated self-starter, able to see projects through from conception to conclusion

Applicable salary ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. The position is also eligible for an annual bonus.
