• Shift: Day shift; 8:00am - 4:30pm
• Location: Southcoast Business Center - Fairhaven, MA

We are searching for a Manager-Patient Accounts-3rd party to manage the patient accounts receivables. Identify payer regulations and billing requirements. Ensure timely, accurate and compliant claims. Analyze status reports. Coordinate the follow-up of unpaid accounts. Work with payer representatives to resolve receivable issues. Assist the Director, Patient Accounts with the day-to-day operation of the department. Duties include direct supervisory responsibilities for assigned Patient Account Services personnel and activities. Duties include supervisory responsibility for up to twenty (25) personnel supervised.
Education and/or Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Computer Science or related fields required, or equivalent related experience.
• Minimum five (5) years experience in information systems within a financial environment required.
• Experience in a healthcare financial environment including knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Experience using Epic or EMR as well as experience using Excel and Word required.
• Third Party Billing experience with knowledge of CPT/HCPCs/ICD9-10/APCs, modifiers.
• Familiarity with CMS compliance regulations, CCI edits, NCD's preferred.
