SalaryPosition Summary
- Oversees the quality of registrations for Patient Access Services; ensures adequate staffing for 24 hours/7 days front-end hospital operations; evaluates each staff member for quality of performance; Hires and monitors training for all new staff members; ensures all new systems applications/ implementations involving registration are completely tested; provides oversight to the Financial Assistance outsourced partnership; acts as liaison between Patient Access and all departments in HHS.
Primary Position Responsibilities
- Manages the day to day operations of Patient Access Department
- Acts as a Liaison between HMC and the Financial Assistance Department
- Provides oversight of Morgue process to ensure proper procedures are met
- Meets or exceeds Point of Service Collections goals set forth
- Serves as point person for all new systems updates and implementations across revenue cycle applications
- Serves as subject-matter-expert on Huron applications and payer portal technology
- Serves as Change-Management leader for all front-end staff when implementing new technology and workflows
Qualifications

- Excellent organizational skills, management and communication skills, multitasking abilities, flexibility with time , Fiscally responsible, knowledge of billing regulations and state programs such as Charity Care.

- Hands-on Hospital Information systems experience

Schedule: Full-time, Days/Evenings & Weekends, 9a-5:30pm M-F, willing to change hours according to department need
