The Global Portfolio Swap (GPS) team is responsible for a Synthetics Equity Trading Platform managing hundreds of Billion $ balances for top Hedge Fund clients globally. As a software engineer in our team, you will be working on firm wide strategic platforms to handle massive amount of data and complex business logic.
Job responsibilities
Provides guidance to immediate team of Software engineers on daily tasks and activities
Anticipates dependencies with other teams to deliver products and applications in line with business requirements
Manages stakeholder relationships and the team's work in accordance with compliance standards, service level agreements, and business requirements
Creates a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect for the team members and prioritizes diverse representation
Applied knowledge of Architecture and Design Principles & Patterns
Experience of working with Enterprise scale, High Performance, Distributed & Multi-Threaded applications
Proficiency in Application Performance monitoring and tuning
Passion for writing Clean code and follow TDD, BDD & Agile principles
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Applicant Resiliency, and Security
OOAD, Java8/11, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Integration, Spring Cloud
Oracle Database (12c or higher), SQL, PLSQL, Database performance tuning
IBM MQ/Apache Kafka/Apache Zookeeper
Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/GCP Cloud platforms (Desirable)
