Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated individual, who can work well under pressure to meet demanding deadlines with little or no supervision. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for the 14 CFR Part 145 Certified Repair Station (CRS): management and delivery of hands-on Quality Control Inspections as well as Internal and Outside Supplier Quality Assurance Audits and Mobile Repair Unit maintenance activity Field Evaluations. In this role, he/she will be responsible for collaboration with the CRS Management Team. The Manager of Quality will also manage all Non-destructive Testing functions (NDT), and aid in the development of CRS Training Program through needs assessments and course development as well as delivery of CRS course Instruction.
Additionally, this individual will provide Quality Engineering support coordination of the overall Aerospace Quality Management System, repair development and STC program management.
To be considered for the role, candidates must be deemed eligible for consideration for advancement to the Chief Inspector role.

Responsibilities (including, but not limited to; a proven track record of performing all of the tasks below):
Performing and instructing others regarding hands-on Quality Control (QC) Inspection of aircraft, aircraft engine and propeller maintenance and modifications as an individual contributor and/or manager
Performing and instructing others regarding hands-on QC conformity inspection regarding avionics installations as an individual contributor and/or manager
Manage Non-Destructive Testing functions.
Developing, conducting and instruction of others regarding effective supplier surveillance and vendor rating management of OEMs, Repair/Overhaul Vendors, raw materials, and Aeronautical Part Distributors
Developing and managing an Internal Evaluation Program in an FAA CRS environment
Quality Control management in an advanced quality management system e.g., ISO 9001, AS 9100 and/or AS 9110
External Audit (as Auditee) coordination in an FAA CRS environment
Effective root cause analysis, corrective action, and preventative action development
Strong aeronautical regulatory and quality standard compliance negotiation
Job Requirements:
FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate. Inspection Authorization/DAR-T preferred
Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in Aviation/Aerospace industry Quality management
Organized, superior attention to detail, self-motivated, effective problem solver in a fast-paced environment
ERP experience required; adaptability to quickly learn and manage internal systems
Individual contributor level Microsoft Office products proficiency
Excellent phone, email, remote technologies, and face-to-face communication skills
Must have a reliable vehicle and be able to pass a Motor Vehicle Report
Ability to support AOG operations, work outside normal business hours, to be on-call nights, weekends & holidays
Travel percentage: Up to 50% domestically and internationally
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
Ability to perform additional duties as assigned
