- Develop and maintain an accurate department level activity-based store schedule based on current forecasted trends
- Identify opportunities to drive results and measure the post implementation success
- Create a budget in collaboration with store leaders for all variable and fixed payroll including all store roles, weekly commissions and monthly, quarterly and annual bonus plans
- Support field leaders in understanding and operationalizing the payroll budget through weekly reporting & staffing tools
- Understand staffing changes needed to meet the needs of the business and identifying mitigation strategies to avoid budget impacts
- Construct a monthly forecast identifying any risks or opportunities anticipated in future periods
- Analyze and present all components of fixed and variable payroll results at a stores and regional/market level monthly, with weekly communication around current trends
- Review or Manage Commission Reconciliation, Forecasting, Reporting and Modeling
- Manages all aspects of Operational Labor Reporting including Workforce Management and financial reporting supporting P&L results
- Respond to miscellaneous ad hoc requests
- Variance analysis as needed
- Provide recommendations for process improvements
- Managing cross departmental communication
- 5+ years of proven progressive FP&A Labor Management experience
- Exceptional and advanced Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills and proficiency in working with different systems to retrieve and analyze data
- Proficiency in complex financial modeling
- Ability to work with massive amounts of data and summarize and convey findings
- Thrive in a high performance, fast‐paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Balance multiple projects and meet necessary deadlines with limited supervision
- Ability to leverage data in disparate systems and determine/confirm the accuracy of such data
- Must be an analytical thinker with the ability to problem solve
- Experience in retail labor management, reporting, and analytics.
- History of supporting growing teams within a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Effective and persuasive in leading change, applying business acumen, company values, while demonstrating the emotional intelligence that inspires others.
- Builds collaborative relationships across various business partners
- Demonstrates a deep familiarity with commission based payroll and complex bonus programs
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Business or related areas required
- 5+ years of proven progressive FP&A Labor Management experience
- Extensive hands-on experience and willingness to dive into large/complex data sets, ability to abstract and identify pattern, perform data validation, clean up and transformation needed for business analysis
- Expertise in business analytics and tools including advanced Excel
- Highly adaptable and comfortable with ambiguity with the ability to problem solve
- Ability to articulate complex data to all business partners
