We are non-profit, Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) located in Elkhart, IN. We provide affordable, high-quality, medical, dental, and behavioral healthcare services to residents in our community. Our on-site pharmacy and support services are additional resources we offer to help our patients receive the best care possible. We accept Medicaid, Medicare, and most private insurances. As an FQHC, we also offer a sliding fee scale based on income and family size. We are Level-3 accredited Patient-Centered Medical Home.

Role Description

We are seeking a Manager of Finance/Controller for our Elkhart, IN location who will be responsible for overseeing our financial operations, procedures, and compliance. This is a full-time hybrid role(Possible remote) located in Elkhart, but with some flexibility for Remote work. The Manager of Finance/Controller will play an instrumental role in managing our financial activities, assessing our operations, and identifying opportunities to enhance our financial performance. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented and proactive individual who understands the importance of accounting, budgeting, and forecasting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) and/or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification preferred.)

• Minimum of 5 years of financial management experience, with previous experience as a Controller preferred

• Understanding of healthcare finance and experience managing grants and contracts preferred

• Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, required

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and build cross-functional relationships
