SalaryJob Description:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at our Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Bethel Park, PA. The LPN will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our patients and assisting in the development and implementation of care plans under the supervision of the Registered Nurse (RN).
Roles:
- Administer medication and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Monitor patients' vital signs, observe and report any changes in their condition
- Assist in developing and implementing care plans for patients
- Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and their families
- Assist in the coordination of care with other healthcare providers
- Supervise nursing assistants and ensure they are providing proper care to patients
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures
- Maintain accurate and complete patient records
- Participate in staff meetings, in-service education programs, and other continuing education opportunities
Requirements:
Current LPN license in the state of Pennsylvania
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Basic computer skills
CPR certification
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary, Contract
Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
