Position summary:The Nurse Manager has 24-hour accountability and responsibility for a direct care unit/s that provide the vital link between theadministrative strategic plan and the point of care. Responsible for creating a safe, healthy, and ethical environment thatsupports the work of the health care team and contributes to patient engagement. Fosters an inclusive workplace wherediversity and individual differences are valued and maximized to achieve the vision and mission of the organization.Creates a culture where interdisciplinary team members, patients and family, and other stakeholders contribute to optimalpatient outcomes. Adheres to ANA code of ethics. May perform other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications:Current and valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the State of California. Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or a Bachelor’s Degree and a Master’s Degree in Nursing. BLS; Certification in Leadership or Specialty. Three (3) years clinical professional nursing experience. One (1) year of leadership experience (chargenurse, clinical nurse III/IV, program management, or nursing supervisor)
Preferred Qualifications: Master’s Degree. Certification in Leadership or Specialty. Previous clinical professional nursing experience in a specialty area, and/or supervisory experience.Working knowledge of the American Nursing Credentialing Center’s (ANCC) Magnet Program Standards, AccreditedTransition to Practice Program standards, and State and Federal Healthcare Regulations.
Salary range: $177,176 to $203,752 (Annually
