POSITION DESCRIPTION: As a Master Data Management (MDM) Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing the organization's Master Data processes and ensuring data integrity across various systems and departments. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to manage Master Data effectively, streamline data governance processes, and optimize data quality initiatives. Additionally, you will lead a team of data professionals and collaborate with stakeholders to align MDM practices with business objectives.
LOCATION: The position is based at DrinkPAK's headquarters in Santa Clarita, CA

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop and implement Master Data Management strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure consistency, accuracy, and completeness of Master Data.
  • Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of MDM systems and tools to support data governance and quality initiatives.
  • Define, create, and enforce data standards, naming conventions, and data classification policies to maintain data integrity and facilitate data integration.
  • Establish data governance frameworks, including roles, responsibilities, and decision-making processes, to support MDM activities.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into MDM solutions that meet business needs.
  • Conduct data quality assessments and implement corrective actions to address data discrepancies and improve data accuracy.
  • Monitor data compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies, ensuring adherence to data privacy and security guidelines.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to a team of MDM specialists, including hiring, training, performance management, and career development.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration with IT, business units, and external partners to align MDM initiatives with organizational goals and priorities.
  • Stay current with emerging trends and best practices in Master Data Management, data governance, and data quality management, and incorporate them into MDM strategies.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (3-5 years) in Master Data Management, data governance, or related field, with a focus on enterprise-scale implementations.
  • Strong understanding of MDM concepts, methodologies, and best practices, including data modeling, data integration, and data quality management.
  • Experience with SAP and MDM tools such as Informatica MDM, IBM InfoSphere, SAP MDG, or similar technologies
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make strategic recommendations.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Leadership experience, including managing teams, driving change, and influencing stakeholders to achieve common goals.
  • Project management experience, including planning, execution, and delivery of MDM initiatives on time and within budget.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to Data Management, such as GDPR, HIPAA, or SOX.
  • Certifications in MDM, data governance, or related areas (e.g., CDMP, DGSP, MDMCP) are a plus.
