Master Data Management (MDM) Product Owner (Remote)

We have an immediate need for a Master Data Management (MDM) Product Owner to join a premier distributor of automotive oils, chemicals, and consumable products. The Master Data Management (MDM) Product Owner will be responsible for driving the strategy, development, and optimization of the organization's MDM platform. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will define the product vision, prioritize features, and ensure the MDM solution aligns with business objectives.

Location: Remote

This job expects to pay about $105,000 – 110,000 annually

What You Will Do:

• Develop and articulate the vision and strategy for the MDM platform in alignment with overall business goals.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and prioritize requirements for the MDM solution.
• Maintain a product backlog, ensuring features are well-defined, prioritized, and aligned with business value.
• Advocate for a positive user experience, ensuring that the MDM solution is intuitive and user-friendly.
• Drive user adoption by providing training, documentation, and ongoing support.
• Define and prioritize features for each release, considering business priorities and technical constraints.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of MDM capabilities.
• Define acceptance criteria for MDM features and work closely with quality assurance teams to ensure product quality.
• Conduct user acceptance testing to validate that features meet business requirements.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the MDM platform.
• Continuously optimize the platform based on performance metrics and user feedback.
• Manage relationships with MDM software vendors and external service providers.
• Collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure the MDM solution adheres to data security and regulatory requirements.

What Gets You The Job:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Product Owner, preferably with a focus on MDM or Data Management solutions.
• Strong understanding of Master Data concepts and principles.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with agile methodologies and tools.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Knowledge of data governance and data quality best practices.
