Job Description
This is a hybrid role, we are looking for two days in office per week.
One of our New York-based Merkle Teams is looking to add a Manager, Integrated Planning to their team. Your work will involve being in the New York Office in person 2 times a week. As the Manager, Integrated Planning you will develop a high-performing team and providing guidance on client and Media Planning strategy. Reporting to Associate Director, Integrated Planning you will oversee the entire Media Planning process for your dedicated client, and will collaborate with trafficking, media operations and media buying teams to achieve client goals. This role is important in establishing the Media Planning direction and overseeing the quality standards of the broader team's planning strategy.
  • Oversee Integrated Media Planning deliverables through the planning and campaign process to achieve and improve client goals
  • Coach team to develop planning strategies that maximize media dollars and media efficiency
  • Improve employee retention by providing feedback to grow and retain top talent
  • Grow the sophistication of the team's media knowledge, expanding into data and technology
  • Support the media buying teams throughout campaign activation process to maintain performance and resolve any campaign-related issues
  • Help implement quality control processes and ensure best practices and standard operating procedures are followed
  • Brief partners and vendors on strategic implementation need and roles of specific communication channels
  • Prepare reporting documentation for clients demonstrating the strategy and rationale implemented to achieve campaign goals
  • Instill a data-driven, continuous improvement culture within a shared service organization
  • Oversee 1-2 direct reports.

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of total experience in a large agency setting
  • Experience working on one large account (B2B or financial services)
  • Experience building media plans, i
  • ncluding media channel selection and strategies
  • Understanding of all media channels and experience coordinating across multiple media disciplines (SEM, Social, Programmatic, TV, OLV, OOH, Audio, Radio, etc.)
  • Experience constructing timelines and manage daily deliverables
  • Experience analyzing competitive landscapes, pulling reports using agency tools and compiling insights
  • Experience managing large Media Budgets and Flowcharts
  • Experience building media plans, including media channel selection and strategies
  • Experience managing at least 1 direct report
  • Experience with Media Ocean, DDS, Nielsen Ad Intel, Pathmatics, Media Tools, Web Analytics, Ad Servers, Media Research tools

The anticipated salary range for this position is $78,000 - $126,500. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law A range of medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and/or other benefits also are available.
