The organization is expanding outside of Amerant Bank Arena via the renovation of the FTL War Memorial/Baptist Health IcePlex in downtown Fort Lauderdale. This state-of-the-art ice facility will feature two regulation-size rinks, including a team practice rink with stadium seating, the Panthers' new practice facilities spanning over 33,000 sq.ft. of offices and off-ice training facilities, and a 4,000-capacity music theatre for live entertainment. The future is bright, and we are very proud of what we are building in South Florida.

Job Summary:
The Florida Panthers are excited to hire a key member to our leadership team. The Manager, Inside Sales plays a key role in driving ticket sales and revenue generation for the Florida Panthers through the management and leadership of the Inside Sales team. This position involves development of the C.A.T.S. Academy team from recruitment through to hiring, training and ongoing development while also implementing sales strategies, fostering a positive sales culture, and developing relationships with clients to meet and exceed revenue goals.


Job Functions:

Specific duties include but are not limited to:

  • Lead, motivate, develop, and retain staff for future succession and opportunities within the organization.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive ticket sales and exceed revenue targets.
  • Support growth of sales revenue within Memberships, premium seating, group tickets, partial plans, concert and event sales.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources on ongoing recruitment and onboarding strategies to attract top quality candidates.
  • Design and lead a comprehensive training and development program for each C.A.T.S. Academy Sales Representative focused on the sales process and professional growth.
  • Conduct sales meetings and huddles with team regularly.
  • Conduct one-on-one meetings with C.A.T.S. Academy Sales Representatives, providing appropriate feedback and direction for development.
  • Collect feedback on the C.A.T.S. Academy program and constantly adapt and improve.
  • Work with Business Intelligence Team to score, schedule and track leads for C.A.T.S. Academy Sales Representatives
  • Work with other managers to develop strategic call campaigns, new sales packages and opportunities for new sales.
  • Work closely with Department heads of each sales division to assist in hitting department sales goals.
  • Attend internal and external networking functions and events.
  • Develop an active relationship with local universities and colleges for future recruitment efforts.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • Education and/or Experience:

    • Minimum of three years ticket sales or service experience with a professional or collegiate sports franchise.
    • Minimum of 1 year of participation in team leadership training program with demonstrated success.
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

    Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

    • Proficiency in Salesforce CRM and ticketing software experience preferred.
    • Skilled in setting and running sales meetings.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and oral.
    • Must be able to work collaboratively across all departments and have a team-first mentality.
    • Strong teaching, motivation, and development skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook


Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:


  • This is an exempt, full-time position. Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
