Job Summary:
The Manager of Labor & Implementation will be pivotal in optimizing our labor resources, streamlining processes, and driving operational efficiency. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop, deploy and track projects & initiatives.
Duties/Responsibilities:Labor Resource Management:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Labor Model for USRS, including ensuring all data inputs are accurate and updated regularly.
  • Analyze workforce requirements and allocate labor resources appropriately to meet project and operational needs.
  • Monitor labor utilization, overtime, and productivity, and implement strategies to improve efficiency.
  • Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within the organization.
  • Collaborate with operations leaders to design and implement streamlined workflows and procedures.
  • Continuously monitor and measure process effectiveness, making adjustments as needed.
Project Implementation:
  • Lead cross-functional teams in the successful implementation of key projects and initiatives.
  • Develop project strategies & plans, timelines, and budgets, and ensure adherence to project milestones.
  • Mitigate project risks and obstacles and facilitate problem-solving to keep projects on track.
Data Analysis:
  • Collect and analyze data related to labor utilization, process performance, and project outcomes.
  • Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and recommend improvements.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of labor and implementation specialists.
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and performance feedback to team members.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.
Reporting:
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting labor and process performance metrics and project status.
  • Communicate recommendations and action plans to address identified issues.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Proven experience interacting with and managing a labor model, process optimization, and project implementation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
  • Excellent leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Knowledge of the healthcare industry is a plus.
  • Knowledge of and adherence to company policies and protocols
  • Knowledge of and adherence to HIPAA and safety guidelines
  • Skill in using project management software and tools
  • Skill in organizing and prioritizing work and following assignments through to completion
  • Skill in written and verbal communication
  • Skill in change management methodologies, tools, and best practices
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and meeting deadlines.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field
  • 5-7 years of experience working in a healthcare environment
  • 3-5 years of previous people management experience
Physical Requirements:
  • Requires the use of office equipment, such as computers, fax machines, telephones and copiers
  • Requires computer related activities for extended periods of time
  • Requires the ability to see, hear, speak, write and key
