ABOUT THE FLOCK
Join our Patient Supply flock to help drive the operational readiness and inflight support of Treatment Centers for multiple commercial Gene Therapy products. Fly at the cutting edge of science and be a part of an enthusiastic team of bluebirds and external partners to support our Treatment Center Readiness and Operational activities. In this role, you will work closely with leaders and partners within Commercial Operations, Apheresis Operations, Patient Supply, Manufacturing, Quality, IT and External Partners and Suppliers. Through strong collaboration with this cross functional flock, you will support the design, management, and help drive the execution of work plans and activities to ensure Treatment Centers are qualified to consistently deliver bluebird bio products and help create the best experience possible for patients once the Treatment Center is onboarded and activated.
HOW YOU'LL FLY
You'll help to bring more patients their bluebird days by:
- Being accountable to create, manage and drive execution of project plans and activities to ensure the on-time operational readiness of Treatment Centers, including cross-functionally collaboration with Commercial Operations, Apheresis Operations, Global Patient Supply, Manufacturing, Quality, IT, external partners and suppliers.
- Delivering and managing Treatment Center GxP training content and materials.
- Conducting and/or supporting external Treatment Center engagements, including Treatment Center training sessions, to support Treatment Center Qualification.
- Supporting the management and execution of Change Controls, Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, Job Aids and Forms related to Treatment Center operations.
- Supporting the development of processes and tools to enable effective and smooth operations between bluebird bio and the Treatment Centers.
- Supporting the Treatment Center during the activities related to procuring HPC-A material, including but not limited to, apheresis collection, labeling, sampling, storage and packing for shipping.
- Effectively communicating with cross functional teams to report on the status, deliverables, performance against department-level Key performance Indicators (KPI), risks and mitigation plans associated with the various projects.
You're the bird we're looking for if you have:
- BS/MS or RN degree/equivalent, with strong apheresis experience required (5+ years).
- Experience in Bone Marrow / Stem Cells Transplantation preferred.
- Good understanding of applicable regulations and standards (FDA, AABB, FACT/JACIE, GMP, GCP, etc.)
- Ability to foster positive relationship with assigned Apheresis Collection Centers and Cell Therapy Labs.
- Ability to work in a team environment, meet deadlines, and prioritize and balance work from multiple individuals.
- Ability to provide focus and clarity; handling confidential information and material appropriately.
- Ability to successfully manage multiple projects.
This is a field based role within the Southwest (AZ/CA), travel required domestically (50% - 75% of time). Flexibility needed due to treatment center's schedule.
Compensation & Benefits
We offer a total compensation and rewards package that ranks among the best in our industry. Base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The anticipated annualized salary range for this role is $110,000 - $154,000. Your base pay will be determined based on several factors including market data, demonstrated skills, relevant education or training, experience, qualifications, internal equity, and travel requirements. Our overall package also includes eligibility for stock, incentive bonuses, and benefit programs, a flexible time off program, as well as 28 paid holidays, including 2 company shutdowns.
