Job description

The pay for this position is between $70,000-$75,000 on an annual basis.

What Will I Be Doing?
  • Maintain order of all food and beverage.
  • Maintain cleanliness at all times.
  • Service all food and beverage requests of owners with gracious and sincere hospitality.
  • Control lounge inventory including food, alcohol, soft drinks, silverware, glassware, china, linens, serving pieces and buffet presentation pieces.
  • Ensure staff's knowledge of hotel services, features, and amenities.
  • Monitor and ensure that Owner's Lounge staff performs their job functions to the hotel's expected level of service.
  • Conduct training with staff as per company guidelines.
  • Accommodate all owners' requests in an accurate and efficient manner.
  • Process food and beverage requisitions.
  • Participate in creating and designing offerings for breakfast and cocktail hours.
  • Evaluate the staffing requirements and prepare schedules weekly.
  • Ensure payroll is documented and submitted accurately and promptly.
  • Conduct performance appraisals of staff.
  • Possess the ability to maintain a calm and hospitable demeanor.
  • Be an ambassador of the Owners Lounge.
  • Adheres to and maintains all requirements by the NYC department of health for a food and beverage establishment.

What are we looking for?
To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Minimum two years of direct F&B and retail operations experience
  • Minimum 2 years of management experience
  • Must have excellent coaching and mentoring skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team
