Manages, prepares, and administers the Product Sales and Sales Discount Revenue Recognition function, for financial planning and control, providing relevant fiscal information to executive management team. Will play a key role in financial reporting and communication of net sales to internal and external auditors as well as executive leadership.
Essential Job Functions
- Manage Gross Sales Accounting and Reporting, including Executive level variance analysis and commentary
- Manage Gross-to-Net Reporting and Product Sales
- Manage Accounts Receivable and Aging Process, including deep understanding of aged items and new trends
- Work closely with Trade to incorporate contract updates and changes
- Input on forecast and budget updates
- Responsible for Product Sales Discounts and Rebate Tracking and Estimates for Managed Care Contracts, Part D Contracts, Co-Pay Card programs, Wholesaler Fees, Medicaid, FSS/PHS chargebacks, Tricare, Patient Discount Programs, Government / GPO chargebacks and Part D Donut Hole
- Manage sales discount and rebate reimbursement and coordinate with external managed care rebate processor and review and investigate managed care invoice calculations
- Responsible for Product Returns tracking and estimates, including identifying issues in a timely manner
- Manage data for government pricing calculations
- Responsible for implementing and maintaining internal controls around the Revenue Recognition Process
- Lead periodic meetings with Third Party Logistics Company regarding returns, chargebacks, and AR Aging
- Respond and provide explanation to audit inquires
- Ability to assist in net ASP analytics/accounting as well as GPO accounting and/or any G2N nuances for newly acquired products

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 7+ years of experience in Finance or Accounting
- Public Accounting Experience preferred
Skills and Abilities
- Strong Multi-tasking

- Advanced Excel
- Strong Mathematical
- Understanding of the Pharmaceutical Revenue Recognition Cycle preferred
- Microsoft D365 preferred
