We are currently looking for a hard-working, experienced professional who has strong leadership skills and a passion for retail. A successful candidate will have the ability to work well with others and create a comfortable environment where customers can have a positive shopping experience. The right person for this job will be responsible for managing employees, handling problems and supervising inventory.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the district manager and regional director in staff recruitment and training.
- Ensure that the store is following the company's and parent corporation's standards of business practices and procedures.
- Supervise and monitor daily operations of all employees in the store.
- Resolve customer complaints, resolve employee complaints using conflict resolution techniques, and communicate plans to management.
- Monitor stock levels, sales, inventory shrinkage, and customer complaints.
- Create a safe work environment for all employees; in addition, create a plan to reduce employee injuries.
- Keep records of all work done by employees based on several elements such as sales figures, profit figures, number of employees hired and fired, customer complaints and compliments, employee complaints and compliments.
- Make sure the store is always ready for inspections by corporate management;.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
